We have enabled London’s Air Ambulance – also known as the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) – to boost their fleet of rapid response cars. We have supplied HEMS with a Skoda Octavia VRS 200 grade horse power turbo performance car, kited it out with the latest technology and are providing it to them free of charge for three years. HEMS use rapid response cars at night or when poor weather prevents the helicopter from flying. The same medical team - trauma doctor and paramedic – respond in one of the cars to incidents where patients have suffered serious life threatening injuries |
